Has been teaching English as a foreign language for over 14 years, with large practical experience in dealing with a wide range of students from diverse skill levels and backgrounds. He uses the Communicative Approach throughout the lessons and exploits technology in the classroom to make the most of the learning experience. He holds a B.A. in Language Arts ( Portuguese and English ) a B.A. in Pedagogy, a PGCE in Linguistics & Language Teaching, CPE (Certificate Proficiency in English), Cambridge CELTA (Certificate of English Language Teaching to Adults) , TKT (Teaching Knowledge Test) Modules 1, 2, 3, Kal (Knowledge About Language) and CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning). He has also acquired a good knowledge of  English while he lived in England. He is a former director of a number of language schools in Minas Gerais. He is a coordinator, a TOEFL proctor, a teacher and a teacher trainer in a renowned preparation centre which administers Cambridge exams in Belo Horizonte - M.G. - Brasil. He prepares teachers to sit TKT, CAE and CPE exams as well as his students to sit KET, PET, FCE (both regular courses and for schools), CAE, CPE, IELTS, TOEFL, TOEIC and BEC certificates.
